Olivia Celeste Dacal (born in Geneva, Switzerland) is an Australian singer-songwriter with a passion for classical and jazz vocals. She has been classically trained at the Victoria College of the Arts Secondary School since 2017, where she is also training in jazz vocals.
Olivia has won many awards throughout her young life. At her first performance at the age of nine, she placed 1st at the Eisteddfod for Musical Theatre, igniting her passion for singing. In 2018 she was awarded with the Sir Zelman Cowen Award from Monash University where she received 1st place in the category of Popular Emerging New Artist (Vocalist).
In 2019 Olivia was accepted on a scholarship into the Manhattan School of Music (NYC) Jazz Vocalist Summer Program. She has performed in "The Herald Sun Aria with Melbourne Opera" in 2018 and 2019, was featured in Jazz Album "My Standards" with Drama Desk Award winning Janet Dacal. Olivia has written, sung and produced several of her own music. Her latest album "Pretty Girls Don't Cry" , can be found on Spotify and all major platforms.
She has performed with talent such as "The Galapagos Ducks", and many other talented Jazz musicians.
